Kolonial-deutsch

Kolonial-Deutsch is a German based language created by Emil Schwörer in 1916 as a language for the natives in the german colonies.

Lexicon

The vocabulary is reduced to less than 600 words: 200 nouns, 100 verbs, 100 adjectives, 50 ?adverbs, 37 pronouns, 19 prepositiones, and 11 conjunctiones.

To get around with such a limited vocabulary Kolonial-Deutsch uses compounds to form new meanings of the basic words.

Writing

Writing and spelling are the same as in Hochdeutsch.
